History:
The club was formed in the summer of 1989 with just two age groups - U11 and U13s. The original name was Willen Stats and the first Club Chairman was Doug Yates with Colin Stephenson as the Club Secretary. In 1990 the first Willen World Cup was held and by the end of 1990/1991 the Club had grown to three ages groups.
By the end of the following season the Club has grown to five age groups and the name Stats had been dropped for the Club name. Unfortunately being known as Willen caused some confusion with the then adult team of the same name, so Juniors was added and the club became, and is still known as Willen Juniors Football Club.
With the introduction of the Nursery 7s League in the early 90s the club expanded rapidly and continues to offer fotball to all ages groups from U6 - U16s for both boys and girls.
The club continues to hold the Willen World Cup Football Tournament in July of each year and has seen its tournament become the premier youth football tournament in the North Buckinghamshire and surround areas. The 12th Annual Tournament attracted some 1620 players and officials from sixty clubs around the UK.
Over the years the Club has enjoyed its fair share of success with wins in the different League Divisions, as League Champions, League Cup Champions, East Anglia Champions and Fair Play Awards.
